    Computer won't shut itself down
    « on: July 28, 2008, 10:53:18 AM »
Win2K. When I hit Shutdown it goes thru the steps but restarts instead of shutting down. I have tried restarting it several times to see if there is something that needs a restart but that doesn't help. Help, please. Tnx.

Did you try going into Safe Mode and then try shutting down?

Press CTRL+Alt+Delete and clik on Task Manager....check and see what is running after you attempt shutdown.
