Reformat deleted nic driver?!?!
« on: July 30, 2008, 09:10:08 PM »
I recently reformatted a corrupted computer with windows xp sp 3 and as I began to update the drivers so I could connect to my dsl and  I found out that it deleted my network driver.  How can I download the correct driver?

It is for a HP Pavilion xt963 desktop, I couldn't find the right one on hp's website.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like network card wasn't included in original configuration...

Download, and install Everest: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
Open it, click Computer, then Summary.
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under line Debug - PCI

And/or if you can't locate a driver simply buy a new NIC card.....they are dirt cheap.
