What are you doing right now?

I just made dinner (Eggs and sausage) and am listing to music... and checking my email (which, I do constantly throughout my day) as well as instant messaging...

You know, honestly, the "Big Band" theory has to be one of the worst scientific theories out there. Its the least backed up theory on earth.
Can you use define a word by using the word in its definition?
If you didnt know what a computer was, and you read the definition:
"A computer is a computer."
What does that tell you, as compaired to:
"A computer is a device that processes mathematical calculations for various purposes, and with many capabilities for use both in the home, business, and public, doing things [though not limited to] word processing, scientific research, schoolwork, games, electronic mail, playing music, and much more all through a input device, and an output device (in most cases, being a Keyboard and Mouse)."

Listing to my record player

Fixing my server (which crashed due to a power outage)

And upgrading my server (part of the fix process) to Ubuntu 7.10 (done) and to 8.04. (My server disc is version 7.04, you have to upgrade to each individual distribution after it)

I just fixed my server!
I had to start from scratch, but, all its kind of back up.
Kind of...
I lost everything, except the home page and a few other things that belonged on the home site.

And I think I lost my Robots file too... I need to fix that.

I also set my computer to backup daily at Midnight, and then at 3AM it moves the backups to a second drive (in case of drive failure) and after the Saturday backup is finished, a one week backup archive is made on the main drive again, which is also backed up.

Sounds a little obsessive, eh?

We used to have a chatroom...
It was mainly for support, but, when there was no one to support, it was social.

We actually have a support chat... I dont think anyone operates it anymore.

Now I'm thinking about chat!

Anyways...

I just installed remote control software on my step dads computer (again, had to add it to the startup folder)
I also got UltraVNC to work on Vista (BETA release)

And I am backing up a few things on my step dads computer.

When a SPAM service looks at messages, they see that messages like SiteAdvisor have been sent to many people with very similar content. It looks like spam.

I am trying to install an experimental IRC server on my server (kicks and giggles, its a necessary part of life).
