Annoying continuous chat by windows xp

I just ran the updates for windows xp and now my computer chatters all the time with a long continuous windows xp tutorial / advertisements extolling all the benefits of windows xp. How do I turn it OFF?

I get regular updates for XP and I've had this happen to me. Is it possible you dl'd something else instead? What protection are you using?

I know, you just woke up, so I must tell you, it'd be extremely hard to get a screenshot from a CHATTER.....LOL

sounds like that annoying thing that comes up when you first install XP. I don't see why they need to advertise AFTER you have the product...

OK, maybe that explains it.  I installed DefenderPro, but then I couldn't play literati and I needs my fix! so I uninstalled DP, reinstalled XP, and then a few weeks later, ran updates and the annoying voice started. But yesterday after I rebooted, the voice was gone. Hallalujah! Now how do I configure my DP so I can play yahoo games? Also I don't know how to do screenshots.
