My computer Won't Turn on properly/at all!!

Okay so heres the story!! I went on vacation this month across most of Canada and I brought my laptop with me. Most hotels have wireless now so I could use it. It worked for the first place i just had to plug it in to the hotels internet. no biggy everything still worked the next day. The second place was wireless and i had to connect to there network. it was working fine that night and everything. Then i shut my computer down and then the next morning i try to start it up and it couldn't it brought me the the safe mode page that has all the last good start up date and all the safe mode start ups. But when i tried nothing would work! it would try to start up and then this blue page would flash across the screen. saying something about new hardware had been detected. its to fast to really read it! so i tried holding the F8 button and putting it in safe mode that way but it just made a really loud beeping sound!!! anyone know how to get it working??!??! help please!!!!

I suggest you make sure you are disconnected from the internet and try again.

What's the beeping sound.

Did you download anything/install anything recently?
Any recent Hardware Changes?

Also, What Operating System is this?

well my computer is a Compaq.  and it has a little switch on it to disconnect so it won't look for a signal. so i did that and still wont start. i did by a new battery for it about a week before the trip but i hadnt had any problems with it until then. and the beep is just like one long consistent beep!

Are you in a situation you can get at the RAM and re-seat it?

It is a Compaq v6105

It might not be your laptop, but it's similar for all laptops. However, instead of replacing it, remove it and then reinsert it.
