Just so you know, Windows Search also searches the Recycle Bin.  Are you emptying it before performing a search?  What folder(s) are most of these pictures located in?

To add on to CBMatt's point, you don't have to keep emptying the Recycling Bin.
Holding Shift while pressing Delete will delete the picture without going to the bin.

Yes i make sure i empty my recycle bin. They are in folders that i have deleted months ago so there is no association when i try to delete them this time. They were folders for my work with pictures of each investigation in them. I burned the pictures to disk then deleted (or thought i had) all pictures plus the file. My memory was kind of low so i decided to check for jpegs in the search bar and there i found some 9000 pictures all of which were the pictures i had deleted previously. Plus the pictures that i have on there now. They all have doubled tripled etc. Acer is no help they say i have a worm burt if i had a worm wouldnt it copy my other files as well not just my pictures. Mind u not all pictures are in triplicate etc. Last night i deleted a whole bunch of these pictures and emptyed my recycle bin...this morning they are back....ugh. Whats wrong with this stupid computer

Do you think you can upload a screenshot for us?  Next time you do a search, maximize the window and hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard.  Paste the screenshot in Paint (or whichever imaging program you prefer), save it as a JPG, and attach it to your next post.

As for this being a virus...it doesn't sound like any that I can think of offhand, but it's always a possibility.  Go ahead and check out this link and then post the requested logs...
