    On my current pc I have floppy discs which I edit files on each month. But all the new pcs only have cd drives. How am I able to edit my files if I transfer them to cd from floppy?

    I don't think it is possible.

    You would be better off use a CD/DVD or a USB flash drive

    You can edit files on CD RW.
