    I get the following message how do you remove?

    Messenger Service
    Message from Local System to User on 8/12/2008 8:53:00AM

    CRITICAL ERROR MESSAGE!- REGISTRY DAMAGED AND CORRUPTED.

    To FIX this problem:
    Open Internet Explorer and type: www .registrycleanerxp. com
    Once you load the web page, close this message window

    After you install the cleaner program you will not receive any more reminders or popups like this.

    VISIT www .registrycleaner. com IMMEDIATELY

    In the future please just Munge any live links. Sometimes I need to know what the site is.

    Munge = Make unclickable. If someone is so determined to get infected that they fix the link so they can go to the site thats their fault. If it's Munged then it should be an indicator that something is wrong with the link.
