Enlarge fonts for HP Deskjet printer 3740

I am trying to change the size of the fonts for my printer..all the printing comes out tiny..Need to enlarge...Appreciate any help with this...

This could be a problem with how your printer is set up. Most printers use graphic drawing now, and dont have built in fonts.

How old is this printer?

Did you try to increse the font in the word processor you are using?

Go to Start> Accessories> WordPad
Type something (The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over the Lazy Dog is a default test sentence...)
Try printing that out, and see if it works. If it prints fine, its probably a problem with a program you are using, that is resizing documents for you.
If it prints small, try this:
Stick the same piece of paper in backwards into the printer to save paper, no need to get a new one. In that same document, select everything and change the size to something bigger, then print it again.
Is the text getting bigger? If its the same size even then, let us know.

Also, make sure, that in printer settings, paper size is set to "letter".
