Computer Speakers

I have Windows XP and I have recently got some new computer speakers as the speakers which were attached to my monitor have low sound quality.

Sound comes out perfectly on the new speakers, however sound from Internet Explorer doesn't come out of the new speakers at all.

Does anyone know how to change this so that sound/music heard from the internet comes out onto my new speakers?

According to THIS:
In IE Go to Tools, Advanced, Scroll down to Multimedia, click Play Sounds, Play Animation, and Play Videos in Webpages if not already click. Then click Ok. Restart Browser.
