Computer stays at windows XP screen
    « on: August 19, 2008, 11:13:21 AM »
Recently I just booted up my computer, and it froze on the windows screen. Obviously I'm pissed off since I'm a busy person with the computer. I rebooted it once in start windows normally but then same error occurred, and I really need to get on my computer today.

Please help anyway you can thank you.

Computer just started up past windows after, however I still don't really trust it yet lol. I'm currently trying to clean up my computer a bit set up ad-aware ccleaner.

However I just noticed I uninstalled norton antivirus lol my bad, and I was hoping if some people could give me a good list of free Anti virus+firewall programs.

    THank you

Avast or AVG are both FREE...

    Add to that :
    Spybot
    AdAware
    WinPatrol

If you know how to setup a firewall Comodo is also FREE and recommended quite often around these parts...
