how to catch virus from USB flash drive?

I just realized that I misread the original post.  He wants to catch it as in detain it, not contract it.



Anyway...and1_bluemen, download Flash Disinfector and run it while your flashdrive is plugged in.  Also, please post the three logs from this link here:

There is no good reason to open the file and you should avoid doing so.  Just follow my above instructions and we will try to help you get rid of it.

i hope this doesn't qualify as "hijacking a thread" but in a way it may help answer my curiosity about the questions i am asking in the programming thread about what inspires people to learn how to program.

As far back as i can remember there was this saying that suggested that "if people who use their brain to create mischief and trouble used it for positive things....." great things could result.

[ sorry about the ackwardness of the language but i'm still not sure how to ask the question and or make a statement that supports my interest and need to know ]

If there is a better place for this question and a better wording of the subject please move and change whatever needs to be changed to find an answer; just let me know where and why.
