you can just borrow the Vista CD from them ,install vista to you system

you must check you computer hardware

the minimum requirement of vista (home basic) is
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
512 MB of system memory
20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
DVD-ROM drive

and one more question ,
can your laptop cd-rom driver burn cd-rom?

i have a vista disc that came with my laptop but i think its vista premium and there is noway my computer could handle it. yes my laptop can burn cds, its brand new.

how do i find out the size of my hard drive i measured it and its like 4x6 inches. how do i find out if its 2.5 or 3.5?

Do you know the floppy disk, it's 3.5 inch ,but you can see the floppy disk dirver is a little big than the disk

it looks like its the same size as the floppy drive but when i measureed it it was 4 inches. it is a Seagate U6 Model ST360020A. if that helps at all.

3.5inch is the size of plate so ,form outside it must a little bigger than the plate.
