Emulators
« on: August 23, 2008, 12:04:21 PM »
In about a month i will be switching from xp to vista and I am wondering how this will effect my Emu and Rom collection. Should everything transfer smoothly? Games? Saves? Cheats? Or will i have to download some things again?

ROMs eh? Those sounds illegal  ::) ::) ::)

Anyways, you will have to copy the rom files and the save files. However, the emulator must be reinstalled.
You are changing Operating Systems, everything must be reinstalled and all files copied. My least favorite part of the changeover.  :-X

I don't know which Emulator you're using but i've got a Sega megadrive emulator on my Vista laptop and that works fine.

Is it wrong that i actually only have the games on the emulator that i own for the originl sega megadrive?

You have good point. I'm not sure but I don't think it would be legal if you owned the system and game. Hmmmm.....
