Processor upgrade on Dell XPS M1530?

Hello, I'm trying to find out whether or not it is possible to upgrade the processor on a Dell XPS M1530. My current processor is an Intel Core Duo 2 2GHz. If it is possible, where would I be able to purchase a better processer and where could I have it installed?

processor compatibillity depends on two things:
1) socket type
2) compatability with chipset.

It's certainly possible, you can purchase them from almost any computer shop and they will probably fit it too.
Also you could buy one online and get the computer store to fit it for you.

Travel to Dell's site and enter your Service Tag # from the machine and it should tell you every component inside the machine...
This will give us a more educated idea of what exactly can be upgraded...
