os x install disc

i have a disc that is the install disc for ibook g4 it is a mac os x 10.4 tiger disc but if i want can i install this on more macs than just the ibook g4 even though it is a install disc for an ibook like could i use it on a imac or emac g4?

You tend to find that Apple have tied in the discs only to the machine they came supplied with.

So you wouldn't be able to use that disc on any other machine (this would most likely be in fringement of their licensing laws anyway).
