So i've been hearing alot about the vista event log and i thought i'd have a quick browse see what it's made of. When i got there it gave me some worrying statistics (see attached pic).

Is this number of error/warning/etc normal?

I have similar numbers. I wouldn't worry about it, as long, as computer works fine.

What did I advice you with Firefox?
Parallel install.
Use virtual PC, and get Vista on it

I'd try to help advise Carbon on whether or not to try Vista...but he didn't post any specs

This laptop was designed for Windows Vista Basic.
After about a day, I put XP on it.

I might give Virtual PC a try.

I've got 1GB RAM. My friend is selling a 1GB Stick.....I might consider it....

Unfortunately none of my experimental computers can support two operating systems (barely XP let alone XP and Vista).

I guess I will try it out on one of the family computers.
