Java enabled but saying it's not
    « on: August 31, 2008, 09:30:17 PM »

Hey how ya doin?  I'm tryin to play cards on yahoo but when I click to view which tables are available it tells me I need to make sure I have Java enabled.  My java and java script are enabled.  My Mozilla just updated to the latest version a few days ago but I don't think that's the problem.  Could you tell me what the problem is and if there's anything else bogus that you see in there?  Thank you for all the help.

I would wait for one of our Malware Specialists to have a look at that logs but I think you should try this first. Try reinstalling the Java Plugin:

I uninstalled it then reinstalled it and it still does the same thing.

Did you start having the problem when you updated Firefox?

If so, what did you updated from and to?

Yes, right around the same time.  It updates automatically so it updated from the last one to the newest.

Did you have Firefox 2 before or Firefox 3.0.0 (or Version 3 Beta)?

Also, try with Internet Explorer and see if the website works.

I used my noobish skills and had a closer look at your HijackThis log and I really think you should look here:

            http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.html

Follow the guide and post the three requested logs.
Once you post them, one of our Malware Specialists will help from there.  ;)

It looks like the problem is not malware related....
