XP operating system
« on: September 02, 2008, 07:50:11 AM »
When I try to turn on my pc, I get the message "Operating System not found" .  The computer worked properly last week, but now that I have moved, this is what I get when I turn it on.  Any advice for making it work again?  My computer is an HP.

Since you moved, maybe something got knocked out or unplugged.

I would open up the case (unplug the computer) and start disconnecting and reconnecting the cables on the Motherboard and to the Hard Drive.

If that doesn't work, you may want to look here:

If you can get into safe mode try doing a system restore from there
