boot from external hard drive?

Hi, can I unplug my internal drive (only one internal)
and if I have a c: system partition on the external can I just boot from it?

Sure! I think so anyway.... Just make sure that you set the external drive to be the master drive instead of the slave, and you should be good to go!  ;)
