    Still images from video
    « on: September 04, 2008, 04:43:41 AM »
Okay folks, I need to get some stills off various videos for a work project. I'm not sure what software to use for this and would like suggestions. I've tried some of the try-before-you-buy programs I've found online but, colour me less than impressed for now. Topaz doesn't grab the correct image, it seems to skip forward before capture so I don't get what I want, and Frameshots also didn't live up to expectations. Not sure what other software is out there so I'm asking the good folks here.
    Thanks in advance,
    Lorri

    Welcome to ComputerHope.

Import the videos into Microsoft Windows Movie Maker (in the start menu).
Drag them into the storyline and you can take snapshots from there.

Is that what you're looking for?

That doesn't work if you're using a media player like WMP or VLC ect....
