At home I use iTunes 8. When I'm at work / school I use Winamp 5.

I use to use Winamp on a 37GB laptop drive i stuck in an external enclosure on my school issued laptop 'cause they didn't let you install anything. I got annoyed with the restrictions a few months before dropping and getting my GED. So I used my IDE to 44 pin laptop IDE adapter to hook the laptops drive to my desktop, deleted the admin profile, making me the admin.

After I changed some permissions on some things my school issue laptop, it ran faster than any other in the building. Simply because I removed the restrictions that where put on for kids viewing pr0n during class and gaming. Oh, I also snagged the combo drive, and a 256MB DDR 266 stick of RAM from a freshmans laptop. Swapped his 256 for one of the 128's in my laptop, and his combo for my CD-RW drive that didn't work. Bumped my laptop up to 384MB of RAM, wasn't to bad, it'd play UT04 on low settings. I figured, if the school is going to loan me a laptop to use, I'm not gonna use it if it takes nearly ten minutes to boot because of what they've loaded onto it.

It seems WMP is most popular.  I don't like it though.  I now use Anole Media Player for all vids, and some audio.  But I mainly use Itunes or AIMP2 for audio.  Anole has bad playlist function.  But I think its the best for vids.

So you decided to take memory and other parts out of the other schools laptops, and place stuff that didn't even work in exchange? I'm so confused now...

That's real interesting, DR.  Really interesting.  Also seems pretty unrelated to this thread, but if you want to post that kind of info, feel free, I suppose.  I wonder how that freshman's life is going...
