    Bluetooth has killed my Wifi
    « on: September 10, 2008, 08:35:53 AM »
    Hi there guys,
I recently installed a Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter, and now I cant use the internet :(
The computer tells me that it is infact connected to the wireless, but when I use either FF, IE or Google Chrome I get the 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
I think that the computer is trying to connect to the internet Via the Bluetooth dongle.
I have uninstalled the dongle via the Hardware Manager, but still to no avail
The Bluetooth does work and I can use it with my Phone.
The laptop is an XP SP2 with a Realtek network card, and a Netgear DG834G Router.
I have booted up into Ubuntu and the Wireless worked fine, internet and everything, so there must be a setting SOMEWHERE in Windows :@
    Really cant understand it...
I did find a case the same as mine, but I cant remember what I Google'd to find it :(
I would System Restore, but it has been disabled, so I have nowhere to Restore to..
    Any suggestions please
    Thanks
    Peace

    Chris
    xx

EDIT: I disconnected the wireless, to try to repair it, now it wont connect again.
