DVD Drive problem
« on: September 12, 2008, 04:00:14 AM »
Hi

I recently bought a new DVD writer. I followed the instruction of installing it. Everything is fine. Drive is powered up and everything but when its time to install the burning program, it goes downhill.

Insert the cd but there no autoplay so went to My Computer and double click it. I got the following pop-up:

D:\ is not a valid Win32 application

Other infos:

Window XP Pro, Service Pack 2
dvd drive: HP dvd1035

Drive is set as master, in the secondary channel, no exclamation mark or question mark at device manager.

Hope someone can help me. Thank you.
