    I have a Trojan Downloader
    « on: September 12, 2008, 04:39:54 PM »
Well as the title says I was running a weekly scan and found three trojan downloaders, so I removed them rebooted my system and started a new scan. Which it finds more trojans, which makes me wonder if I really got rid of the other trojan downloaders. I use SuperAntiSpyware and I have HiJackThis and I can post the logs if needed. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Ok, I looked threw all the information on the link and I've done every thing it said to do. Here is the HJT File and MBAM file.

You should have MBAM delete those files it found.  Once you've done that, run another scan with MBAM and HJT and post the new logs.

The HJT log is after MBAM deleted the things it found. I'll run MBAM again and HJT, I'll post with those logs soon.

Everything still says No action taken?

Follow the guide and be sure to fix everything found.

          • Open MBAM, once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
          • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
          • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected[/B].
          • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
          • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
          • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.  Run the program and read its disclaimer (it's fairly short) and make sure you really pay attention to what it says.  Follow the prompts and when finished, it will produce a log at C:\ComboFix.txt.  Go ahead and post that here.  Note: Don't click on the window while it's running; this may cause stalls.
