How to format a 400GB drive
« on: March 11, 2005, 05:37:23 AM »
Well I put the 400GB drive in the seond bay as a slave. Window spent 2 hours trying to format the drive. It assigned the letter (i) to the drive and said, " windows can not finish formating drive". So I tried again and the same thing happeded. What's the problem and how can I get this drive formated so that I can use it as an area to stow video files?

Thanks

Try making 2 or more partitions.  I'm soooo jealous btw.  I have 2 drives totalling 320G and all full.
