Need help can't burn audio songs to DVD

I'm gettin an error when I'm trying to burn audio songs to DVD I'm using nero to burn the audio files but that is not working please I need help. I also tried burning at 4x writing speed but gettin the same error

Have you done this before on another computer? Are your familiar whit the quirks of audio files and CD media? Why are you using DVD for audio?
Are these files MP3 files?

I'm using Nero 12. I went through that thread, downloaded the CDBurnerXP but it isn't solved yet. getting an error. Yeah I burned some songs on a CD some months ago, I burned them with Windows Media Player. I also tried with that aswell but burning process fails everytime. I want to play that audio DVD in my car. I got like +400 tracks thats why I using a DVD for audio. Those are mp3 format files

Optical drives haven't required since Win98...
So it's not a driver issue...
Borrow another drive and swap it in there to see if it's the drive that is the issue...

You have to try another computer or another DVD ROM drive.
DVD and CD drives have sets of lasers. One for read, another for write. There is no way to verify the write laser other than trying to write something and read it back. The read laser could be OK and the write laser would be  bad.
An external CD/DVD burner would be a good choice.
