    Video Driver Display problem

    The pc is a amd duron socket 462,A 1300 MHZ SDRAM 128mb.  I put 98 on this machine an when I go to set the color it only allows me to set it to 2 an 16 I need 256 color, it set it up threw the disc.

    What video card do you have, and have you installed the drivers?

                        In each one there's an image to click to begin the download.
                        Choose any of the 4 in 1 drivers, the one on top is newer but not optimized for 98, whereas the two below are older but will work better with Windows 98 (according to the notes at the top).

                                You just have to go to http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2&Type=1&OSID=6 and then select the type of driver you want.
                                Your Northbridge is VT8361 and your Southbridge VT82C686B.
