Try Wolfram Alpha.  You need all the help you can get.

    Hi there,

my first contribution (YAY...ok, party's over).

I upgraded Google Earth and it installed Google chrome.  Going into advanced download, and found nothing about it, neither in the Terms and conditions. (ie. no opt in or opt out)
Reviewed the list and found that it has google toolbar prechecked.  I didn't have an Wizard installer, just online.

Sad that google went to that level :(

    Thanks

Are you saying, that Google Earth installed both, Google Chrome AND Google toolbar?

woops, wasn't clear about that.  Erm, unfortunately i'm not on the same PC, so I can't tell.  But i only know that it installed chrome.  (I think toolbar was already installed on that PC, so it wouldnt have been installed again).  Sorry for the lack of info :(

Include Google Chrome, a new web browser for Windows.

This is pre-checked on the download page. http://earth.google.com/intl/en/download-earth.html
