Hi Guys, i am having trouble seeing my screen when laptop turned on , everything working except i can not see, i can just about see my wallpaper background if i tilt laptop.   i believe its the inverter.
What i want to know is, is it easy to get to and and easy enough to replace?

If you can still see whats on the screen if you hold a light to it or (like you said) tilt it in the right angle, it is most likely the screen inverter.

This all depends on the model number of the laptop.
Trust me, it would be much easier to hand it in and let professionals do it as they know what they are doing.

If your laptop is still under warranty, you can get it repaired for free.

hi thank you for the quick reply, no its not under warrenty, its a 2 year old hi-grade laptop. and im not working, i have played around with pc`s but never a laptop, not even sure where the inverter is? inside the screen part or in the in the bottom part. Would i beable to get a compatible inverter?

I strongly recommend against trying to replace it yourself if you don't know what you're doing

Also, to answer your question, it has to be a Screen Inverter made for the specific laptop.
