tried to add SDDR to my computer  was'nt compatable removed it  but now computer making a long beep sound

    pop out your BIOS battery (with the machine off and unplugged), wait 5 minutes, then pop it back in and reboot.

    Perform Homer's steps first, but make sure the RAM you put back into the computer is properly "seated" in it slot(s).
