    Recycle Bin

    I need help with recycle bin...icon shows trash in bin..whwn I doubleclick it opens but nothing is shown in window...when I press to empty, prompt asks for confirmation of 36 items, still no listing of items in bin...confirm "yes" but phanton items are shown as still in bin. I have deleted 8-10 more items today, yet total still stays at 36. HELP!!!

    Any Norton products on this machine ? ?
    Try right clicking the Recycle bin and choose Open...
    Also is display hidden files and folders turned on or off ? ?

    To find out in Windows Explorer choose Tools/Folder Options and then View...it's in the list.
