Office 2003 download trouble

So i'm trying to fix my boyfriend's computer. He deleted something on his computer to cause the spell check not to work. Then yesterday Microsoft Word stopped working. Today i re-installed Office Basic Edition 2003 but now when i open any of the microsoft things it says it hasn't been installed for the current user. What should I do now??

It should be installed under the Admin account and then check which additional User accounts can have access to it...
