Vista stuck in hibernation
« on: September 29, 2008, 02:41:53 PM »
Hello everyone,

Please can someone tell me how to get my laptop out of hibernation?

We shut it down, then when we went to start it up all I see is 'resuming windows' then the Hibernating screen (which never stops).

Tried to boot in safe mode by pressing F8, but whatever i do it just goes into hibernation.

Laptop : Dell Inspiration 1525

Thanks for any advice.

Hold the power button down to turn it off. Now try to startup (keep pressing F8)
Do you still get to that 'Windows is Resuming' screen?
