Dell C600 Laptop/ disable track ball
    « on: October 01, 2008, 05:08:19 PM »
    Hi,
I have a Dell C600 that I installed XP on and then the cursor started jumping all over the place. I found a fix some time ago that disabled the track ball. Since then, I put in a new hard drive and I'm back to the original problem again. Does anybody have a link, as I not sure if it came from Dell or Microsoft.

Can you go into Device Manager and disable the track ball?

How about going into the mouse properties through your Control Panel?
