Outlook Express Backups

I am running Outlook Express 6 on Win XP Home.

Does anyone know how I can back up the messages from the various folders.

The Computer Hope help page suggests looking for .mbx files but I cannot find any.  Perhaps this is not applicable to XP.

I have found .dbx files but don't seem to be able to do anything with them.

I will also need to know how to restore the messages.

Can anyone help.
