    When trying to load some web pages the page loads but nothing shows on the page ie this happens with the microsoft updates page.  Other sites ie google work.  I am using xp service pack 3 windows ie 7 has worked before nothing has been installed to change this.

    Same thing happen in Firefox?

      Have tried with firefox and works ok so must be something in Internet explourer 7?  When going to remove it to roll back to 6 I dont have the option

      In IE, go Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, and click "Reset" button.

        Hi Sorry did not reply sooner I have done this and it did not work it seems any page with activex controls its doing this as can access google, yahoo ms updates uses activex

          Ok I have found the fault there was a problem with the service pack 3 upgrade that I did not sure what or why as it was done ages ago?  Rolled back onto SP2 and checked could access pages and worked ok reinstalled SP3 works ok.  Thanks for your help and hope this helps others?
