    microsoft word help

    Hi,
    I don't know how I got these marks but I have these weird and annoying border marks on the edges of my ms word documents and I want to get rid of them! I have attached a picture so you can see what I mean

    any help greatly appreciated!!

    It looks like you have Word 2003 - I have 2007.  What you are seeing is 'crop marks'.  In 2007 it is a checkbox in the Advanced options.  I'm not sure where it is in 2003 but try searching the help files (F1) for 'crop marks' and you should find it.

      sorry I should have said it was word 2003
