Thanks everyone for clearing this issue up...I generally read lots of the posts & find that some answer
questions I might have asked myself.  Just that I've noticed quite a few that always reply, but never
really offer any useful help.  I am not that computer savvy, so I'll only answer something if I'm 99%
    sure.
ps. Does this one count?    ;D ;D

    Thanks again.

I myself am guilty of sometimes short abrupt answers that may on the surface seem to offer no help...
But if it makes the OP start thinking of how to get from point A to point B then it is assistance...

I don't suggest this as a good approach however.

I think we're all a little guilty of this...

Sometimes we interject in a serious post with a touch of humor...or a thank you/welcome post.  While these really don't contribute to the aid of the person asking a question...it does tend to lighten things up a little...

I mean...we're not robots, ya know...pardon the pun.

I agree. A helpful post is a post well earned.

If you really want to buff up your post count, It's not too hard to put two thought cycles in on someone's post. Sometimes I can answer questions with 5 seconds of googling.
