cmos checksum error
« on: March 21, 2005, 08:14:55 PM »
I have an old 'puter that I am trying to get going. I hooked it up and it starts but after inital start, I get a cmos checksum error. I have replaced the battery, Un hooked all componants incase they might be bad and installed my own hard drive with win98se and it still does not work.  F1 will not let it continue and Esc Does not work ether.  Is there hope? or do I slam dunk this thing?
