Computer Screen glows white not balck when turned off

Help, just last night my computer screen started to glow white instead of black when it was turned off.  Is something stuck in the screen?  (LCD) Or is the monitor dying?

So do you mean, when you turn it off, it blinks white?

NP, the whole screen stays white.  Usually when your turn off the monitor using the button on the front, the screen goes to black.  Now it turns darker, gets a line across the screen and the entire screen goes to white, and it appears to have a backlight, because it glows.

Can you confirm its not a problem with the computer?

What happens if you unplug the Monitors Power for about 20 seconds and try again?

I also suggest trying another monitor and see if the problem still happens with it.

Neither restarting or unplugging the monitor helped,  I haven't tried a new monitor yet.

So the monitor is always white now?

I would try another monitor on this computer and/or this monitor on another computer.
