Not letting me on a website

Hi everyone!

I am trying to access one website (www.virtualassistantforums.com) but my computer will not allow me to access this one website. I have cleared my cache and my cookies and I even lowered my security while I tried to get on the site, but it still keeps saying, "The server at www.virtualassistantforums.com is taking too long to respond." But at work I can look at this website no problem.

Do you know of anything else that I could possibly do to access this website from my home?  Thank you!

I have even tried the ipconfig from the other "Page timeout post." But nothing seems to be helping.

Did you try Safe Mode with Networking?
What AV, and firewall are you using?

Restart computer, and keep tapping F8 key, until menu appears. Select Safe Mode with Networking

Yep, I am on safe mode now w/ networking and it won't let me. I have Norton AV.  I'm not sure how to work my firewalls though. Thanks!

What type of connection is it? Router involved?

I have AT&T Uverse, so its broadband and yes I have router.  I want to fix it while understanding what is going on, so I can fix it next or if anything else were to happen.  Thanks for your help.

Turn computer off. Connect it straight to the modem. Restart. Try the web site again.

Hey guys, I'm back!

So my computer still isn't letting me on this website.  I haven't really had time to think about it since I was sick and I am just now getting back on the computer.  I called U-verse and they took me through everything. They were going to send me through to their "Geek Squad" but they were going to charge me $100.00.

I am using Mozilla and I even set my security low and changed my firewall.  Are there any other suggestions you all might have?

We have ATT U-verse that we are connected to and that is what I am connected to. I am assuming that is the the modem.  And it is still not working.

I am getting so irritated and I feel like its something I am doing wrong.  I don't think its something with my firewall, do you think?

Uninstall it, using this: http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039, turn Windows firewall on, to be on a safe side, and try to access the site.

Nope... uninstalled and restarted, still doesn't work.

Well I am using Mozilla Firefox and Internet 6.0.

I've tried on both of them and neither of them work.  Its nothing with their website because I access it from work, I just can't access it from my house.

I uninstalled it like Broni told me to. I am just using my Windows Firewall until I get home and reinstall it.
