    Wireless Router
    « on: October 31, 2008, 12:40:26 PM »
I have 3 computers one with a wireless router, connected to a wireless router connected to the wired router connected to the modem the wired router connects the other 2 computers 0-o on the 2 computers upstairs I have 100mbps and on the wireless router with a 54mbps router... 54 mbps. If I got a 100mbps router would it be 100mbps and would that technically double my internet speed?

      Good Morning,

You will only receive 100mbps. They are several ways to change your speed.

      1) Change your internet service provider.
      2) Buy a faster router with a 1GB connectivity and make sure you wireless or Ethernet connection is compatible with 1GB.
