    computer will not boot up

    i have windows xp -the on button became stuck and it kept buzzing. now the button is ok but the computer will not turn on now. even when i get the screen up it stops at
    press del to start up
    but nothing happens whatever key i press. any ideas.

      Silly question, but is the keyboard plugged in?

        its a wireless keyboard

          Do you have a wired keyboard you can plug in for troubleshooting purposes?  Wireless adds more variables to the mix.
