    DirectX 9 question

    I am currently running Vista Home Premium.

    a couple of my games have decided not to run because they cannot detect DirectX 9. I have downloaded the redist (aug2008) from the microsoft page. I have no idea where they go on Vista, any help?

    Run dxdiag command to see what version you have installed.
