Help! no audio output problem!

i have this problem just as this time. my newly installed computer does not have any sound output. my motherboard is msi ms7312 ver 1.0. i have checked the device manager there are no problems with the drivers. i tried to put a new sound card ESS but still there is no any sound comes out from my headset/speaker. can anyone help me with this?

What do you mean by "my newly installed computer"? New build, or new from the store?

im sorry.. what i mean is newly installed with OS, its xp sp2
