Sound Driver

my sound doesnt work and i think i need a new sound driver but i dont know what kind to download. can anyone tell me how i can figure out what kind of sound card i have and once i do that where do i go to download a driver?? thanks

well i think my sound card is called serwave but i dont know if thats even right?? can someone give me specific directions please in order to find out what kind of sound card i have and what kind of driver i need
