    help with on/off push in button wires

    ok i have computer that has had it's on/off button wire ripped from the buttons themselves ( somehow), i was wondering if there was some way to temporarily reattach them or should i just buy another one (which i'm not trying to do).

    You could solder it.
    Any contact switch will work fine, even shorting the wires with a screwdriver or something else conductive is OK.
    Or, salvage an on/off switch, or a case, from another computer.
