x box wont work with netgear rp114 router. Netgear sort of tried to help ,no luck. So I thought of installing another network card in 1 of my computers to connect up to the xbox, can not get it to work any ideas would be much appreciated as this has been a long on going thing.

Are you plugging the xbox directly into the computer, via a network cable?  If so, is it a crossover cable?  You can't use a standard cable.

I have never networked an xbox so this advise is based on peer to peer and client/server networks only.
