    i just finsished installing my new graphics card and call of duty 4, when i tried to run CoD 4, i got all the way through the loading screen, and when it should have gone to actual gameplay, i got bluescreened.  error message 0x0000008E (0xC0000092 , 0x0062CC2A , 0xA6FC6ACC , 0x00000000)

    was the BSOD in ati3duag or nv4_disp?

    Either way- try updating your video drivers, or reinstalling.

    What kind of system are we talking about here? Does it meet COD4 requirements?
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

      how would i find out if it was ati3duag or nv4_disp? and my computer is custom built way above Cod 4 requirements

      when the blue screen shows, it often shows a filename, usually near the bottom.

      I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
